The term 'producer' has a lot of different meanings depending on who you talk to. I consider myself an all inclusive type of producer - someone who's expertise extends past pushing paperwork and copying receipts but is involved from day one into infinity.
Auteurism isn't necessarily my thing - as I believe collaboration is key to creativity - but acting as a swiss-army-knife of sorts is something you could say I strive to become. Whether that's mixing location audio or designing key art - I am always looking for new skills to learn to help ease the rigors of filmmaking. Outside of simply giving an extra hand, understanding the process of VFX helps me make better decisions along the way and provide a level of nibility.
